In the past few years, I have developed migraines (at least that is what the doctor say it is). I have found a correlation between the onset of the visual auras that happen just before a full-blown headache happens and coffee. At first I was not sure if the correlation was between the brand I was obsessed with at the time, or the type of coffee.
So, before I quit Starbucks, I thought maybe I will just tell them “half the pumps” or less of whatever syrup they put in there. I didn’t notice a difference, so I switched to another brand, and I was still having the same reaction.
I didn’t know what I was going to do because I loved coffee. Then I heard about mushroom coffee. Like with most things I hear about, I began researching the health benefits of mushroom coffee. Finally, I thought it would be a good idea to try it.
I mentioned wanting to try it to one of my colleagues. She had already tried it and said it tasted like dirt. Yuck! Did I really want to give up coffee? Were the headaches that bad? I wasn’t sure. Back to the research drawing board I went.
After doing a bit more research and realizing I don’t want to keep having those headaches, I decided to try it for myself. It didn’t matter to me that it may taste like dirt. I understood that most healthy foods just do not taste as good as unhealthy foods, at least in the beginning. Besides, I was already used to drinking plenty of “nasty” healthy things like ginger shots, juiced garlic, and apple cider vinegar in my tea every morning. How bad could mushroom coffee be?
RYZE Superfoods Coffee
Sooo…Long story short, I tried RYZE Superfoods Coffee. It was not bad. I was actually surprised by the taste. I never added sugar to any of my coffee or teas before and wanted this experience to be a true substitute. Therefore, all I added was oat milk creamer, which has all of the sweetener I needed.
It definitely tastes different than regular bean coffee, but you can get used to it with all of the benefits it offers. According to RYZE, drinking their coffee delivers calmer energy, sharper focus, and immune support for a balanced body and clear mind without the jitters, and no crash.
Just like coffee it’s simple to make. Just boil or heat your water. Add the powder mixture, and MIX WELL, emphasis on mixing well. Add any coffee creamer or sweetener you like.
