We all know that in real estate, we have to get creative. So my colleagues Tegest Walker and De’Janae Blunt had a great idea to theme our open house event to match the Afro Nation Festival, the world’s largest Afro Beats festival that was coming to town that weekend.
The Afro Nation Pre-Soiree took place on Saturday, Aug. 19th, from 12 pm-2 pm for the Afro Nation Pre-Soiree at Brush 8. Not only did we have an opportunity to showcase a lovely unit at Brush 8 luxury townhome development in Brush Park, but we were also able to show that living in the area is ideal if you enjoy being in the middle of everything happening.
Brush Park is a historical neighborhood in walking distance from major sporting facilities, including Ford Field and Little Caesars Arena. It’s a prime area in Detroit, filled with high value properties. The Brush 8 townhome development adds to the character and spirit of the historic neighborhood through a modern interpretation of elegance.
The townhomes are characterized by the handsome brick work, reminiscent of historic Victorian homes with large floor to ceiling windows and bay windows designed to fill the interior spaces with light throughout the day and provide generous and panoramic views of the surroundings.
Other conceived design features further contribute to the ample natural light and its display into the interior spaces like open-riser wood stairs on the second and third floors. The wood slat partition permits natural light to penetrate through the stairs and deep into normally unexpected spaces. A skylight at the top of the penthouse and floor openings at the second and third floors distribute additional natural light, while providing a visual connection between floors. It’s an impressive piece of architecture. For more information on this listing, visit TheLoftWarehouse.com.
All in all, the event was a success. We enjoyed great music, great views and Caribbean food from Coop Detroit – complete with rum punch! We enjoyed touring this lovely townhome. Thank you to our sponsor: Demetris Holloway of Shoreline Mortgage. Thank you for coming by and being a financial resource for clients as well.
